The YCDC Alternative

How to Anlayze:

When we analyze any issue we must see (Fundamental) basic things as basic, secondary things as secondary and the other related things as tertiary.
Interchange of basic, secondary and tertiary things will lead to false solutions and contradictions.

Take for example - A boy, bringing a glass of water, drops and the glass is broken. The basic reason for the breakage appears to be "Dropping by the Boy". It is not correct. The basic reason is "breakability of the glass". The secondary reason is dropping. The reasons for dropping like negligence, carelessness, inadvertence, fear etc are tertiary.

If by mistake or improper understanding, the secondary (or tertiary) reason is treated as basic, the basic reason is automatically either gets clouded or becomes a secondary reason which throws the analyzer on the wrong track forcing him to move ultimately towards the dead end. At the dead end differences crop up between the analyzer (leader) and his followers and start blaming each other which leads to splits, divisions, sub-divisions, failures and even extinction.

The Basic necessities of life:

1. Oxygen (Basic thing)
2. Water and food. (Secondary thing)
3. Protection, Sex, Sleep (Tertiary thing)
When there is shortage for No.1 we should not try for No.2. When No.2 is scarce, we should not try for others. If we try for the secondary or tertiary thing without basic thing, we are off the correct track and forced to tread towards extinction.

YCDC
We believe in the following structure:
1. Political Power (Basic thing)
2. Economic Security (Secondary thing)
3. Social security, equality, human dignity, democratic way of thinking and living (Tertiary things)

Without No.1 it is not possible to have No.2, without No.1 and No.2 it is not possible to have No.3.

If we try for No.2 without No.1, we are bound to fail. Without No.1 and No.2, if we try for No.3 we are bound to fail. These failures will lead to dissentions, splits, divisions, and sub-divisions leading to weakening of the movement which automatically increases the strength of the enemy. If the enemy could misguide us, through the media in its control to the secondary or tertiary thing, its objectives are achieved.

For example: In 1957elections, the ruling class (Brahmins and other Savarnas) was shocked by the advances of Communist Party of India (CPI). Militarily in 1957, China was the strongest in the world (it defeated USA in 1954 in Korea). India was one of the weakest in the world. Even then, India attacked China in 1962 and was badly beaten. Most of the Indian soldiers died of biting cold on the Himalayan ranges. China was the victor.

Advantages to China: ZERO (Nehru said:"China conquered Aksai Chin, but we dont need that region because not even a single grass will grow there." And remember, India never attempted to re-capture that territory again.)

Advantages to India:

1. Created anti-China and anti-Communist feeling, by crying aloud that China attacked India.
2. Destroyed Indian Communist movement - by creating dissentions and splits.
3. Quadrupled its exploitation by increased taxation.
4. Made state governments as puppets. The Indian govt. became more unitary.

The Indian ruling class achieved all its objectives without a direct attack on CPI or communism. The Indian communists did not know this secret and in-fighting started. And the majority of the followers of CPI was the Dalits who were fighting against the caste oppression. And thus the anti-caste movement was suppressed.

What do we need to do?

It is foolishness to think that we can save the world. We cannot. Likewise, we cannot get rid of all caste related problems in India. So YCDC decided to concentrate only in Kerala where we have more strength.

YCDC's main objective is to gain power. YCDC is not a political party, but is a socio-political organization. YCDC wants to unite Converted Christians under one banner and to fight for political rights. We believe that once we have political power, we will get economic security which in turn will provide social equality.

We are in-debted to Mr.Kovena for giving us this idea. Kovena is a Bahujan leader and think-tank.
